Recently a member was engaged in numerous communiqués, initiated by ASNSW PSCU, after PSCU was informed of the intention to provide a statement to Police in the matter of a Coronial. Interestingly, the PSCU were very quick to provide the services of the ASNSW Barrister to attend with the member. Seems their reasoning was to provide ‘assistance and support during a stressful time’. Is this not what EMSPA has been doing from the outset, assisting and supporting their members, unconditionally? Their many offers were subsequently declined.
