“The apolitical approach to Ambulance representation goes from strength to strength with the addition of Victoria today.

The EMSPA NSW Inc. would like to congratulate EMSPA VIC Inc. who have officially launched today! We look forward to a united Association between the three states as we continue to grow the EMSPA name and unite Ambulance Employees across Australia.”

Newspaper headlines of 'Everyday heroes pay the ultimate price when the siren stops', 'Paramedics stressed, undervalued and overworked', 'Stressed and suicidal worker told to 'cowboy up'', 'Bullying remains in Ambulance Service', 'Anguish starts after the siren stops' and 'Bullies in the office' have spread across the state today following the release of the GPSC2 Final Report on the Review of the Inquiry into the management and operations of the Ambulance Service of NSW.

EMSPA would like to take this opportunity to remind all members, non-members, friends and family of Ambulance Professionals that the EMSPA Chaplain is available at all times and encourages all to build and maintain a support network for what can be a stressful and demanding job.

EMSPA NSW Inc. would like to congratulate and welcome the new Executive Committee elected at the AGM held on 29th March. The new office bearers of your Association for the 2010 - 2011 year will no doubt continue the fantastic work already set in place by the interim foundation Executive.

A big thank you goes out to those who have given their time in establishing EMSPA in NSW and for progressing the Association to the position it now currently holds in our workplace with a significant membership in such a short time.

Special mention to Mr Scott Clarke our outgoing President who has moved on to another position within the Association and a big welcome to Mr Andrew Keshwan our new President and Mr Warwick Holland our new Vice President.

The new Executive Committee looks forward to the coming year and the continuation of support for all Paramedics.
